Homeopathic Methodology: Repertory, Case Taking, and Case Analysis: An Introductory Homeopathic Workbook
Published in Paperback by North Atlantic Books (November, 1998)
Authors: M.D.,Todd Rowe, Todd Rowe, and Roger Morrison
Average review score:

A Fantastic Tool
As one begins to learn the homeopathic methodology, repertorising is a difficult, if not ominous endeavor. This book helps to sort out the many nuances of old, and clarify much of the "older" jargon. This puts the learning curve back in the present! I have utilized this book extensively in my studies with the British Institute of Homeopathy. I recommend it highly!

A New Owner's Guide to the American Pit Bull Terriers
Published in Hardcover by TFH Publications (September, 1996)
Author: Todd Fenstermacher
Average review score:

A very good book
For someone who wants to get an American Pit Bull Terrier should read this book. It talks about responsible ownership and how to socialize your puppy so that it will become a good canine citizen. Although it has a whole chapter about dog-fighting which I don't like, it uses that information to explain the temperament of the breed - which is not a vicious animal like everyone says. Ofcourse pit bulls are dog-aggressive, although some live with other dogs their whole life without any incidents. They love people and strangers and are not guard dogs - in fact they love people so much that they will let a stranger in your house, take everything including the pit bull. Some pit bull owners even get other dogs like Dobermans to protect their pit bull. It might sound strange but its true. Bad breeding, dog-fighters, gangsters, and the media gave this breed a bad reputation. Before you buy a dog - read this book first. Pit bulls are only for very few people - only if you you are getting this dog as a pet, have lots of time to spend timewith them, socialize them, and have time to love them then may be you should consider this breed. Be a responsible owner!

great info on a breed hated by many
for someone who knows nothing or little about the breed this is a very informative book and even greater for someone who refers to the breed as a blood thristy killer who lives to fight.if it can change my fathers view on an american pit bull terrier it can change anyones!

Should be required reading for all owners/potential owners!
This short, inexpensive book realistically depicts the unique challenges and responsibilities of owning this special breed. If everyone followed his advice, we wouldn't have the negative press we do today. If I bred APBTs, I would give one to everyone who purchased a puppy from me.

Tellos, Vol.1
Published in Paperback by Image Comics (01 February, 2001)
Authors: Todd Dezago, Mike Wieringo, and Paul Mounts
Average review score:

Great comic
This is a great comic. I stumbled over it when I was searching my local comic bookstore, since I was pretty dissatisfied with the irregularity with which Battle Chasers was released. The cover really appealed to me, being a fantasy fan, so I took it home and read it and immediately I loved it and I went back to the store to get all the other parts. The drawing are good and the inking is AWESOME. The story is maybe not so complex but it sure is a fun read. I know many people comment on this comic as it being too simple but that's only a strong point, since there are already so much 'heavy' comics out there (by the way, it's not THAT simple). Along with Bone and Battle Chasers the best comic ever.

Amazing!
Simply one of the coolest most inventive fantasy series of recent years If not of all time. This is why we all started to read comics. Check it out. Make sure you pick up a copy of volume 2 as well. It doesn't get any better than this.

Beautiful
Not to be one of those people that spouts benedictions about this book from everywhere, but this is a truly amazing book. The artwork, and especially the coloring is stunning. The story is nicely paced with action and suspense, along with ammusing little plot twists thrown in. Seeing as this is only the first half of the entire TELLOS run, it'll make you want to run out and buy the next one to see the end of the saga. Its fantasy elements make the strangest things possible and believable. This is the kind of story telling that I've ever read comics for.

Who's Afraid of Html? (Who's Afraid Of...)
Published in Paperback by Morgan Kaufmann (April, 1999)
Author: Todd M. Howard
Average review score:

Pain-free HTML!
Mr. Howard and his sidekick Kate provide an introduction to HTML unlike any I've seen. Through common sense examples and real world techniques that will have the reader coding pages in hours instead of days, they use the Teacher/Student metaphor to guide the reader through the lessons. Mr. Howard never talks down to the reader or assumes too much, and the casual, conversational banter between he and Kate fosters a comfortable environment for learning about HTML. Highly recommended!

Great book that breaks fears and engages readers!
Mr. Howard outdid himself with this one. I cant say that I've ever read a better text on the subject of HTML. THe approach is subtle yet engaging on the most intellectual levels.

Enjoyable, Readable, Great introduction to Web coding!
This book is a conversation between two users (one novice, one expert) and this gives us a great perspective. Howard proves that programmers shouldn't be writing books anymore than mechanics should be selling cars. There's only room for one more HTML book and this is it.

Cold Wars: 40 Years of Packer-Viking Rivalry
Published in Paperback by Prairie Oak Press (August, 2002)
Authors: Todd Mishler and Todd Misher
Average review score:

A perfect addition to NFC Central lore
Mishler has gone the extra yard to interview great players from both sides of this rivalry. From "crossover players" who found themselves in the enemy camp for their professional careers to the great anecdotes which fill each page any Packer or Viking fan will be entertained. I thought I had heard or read most of the Lombardi year stories, but Todd came up with some new ones I hadn't heard from the post season circuit. A perfect complement to D'Amato and Christl's "Mudbaths and Bloodbaths".

Endorsed by the Vikings #1 Fan, Mr. Cheer Or Die
You don't have to be a Vikings or Packers fan to enjoy this book. Any true NFL fan will want to read this book to relive some of the greatest games ever played between these NFC powerhouses. Insight from players and fans alike give a personal feel and provide that extra "edge" that will leave you both chuckling and gritting your teeth depending on which side of the Minnesota-Wisconsin border you happen to live on. Don't hesitate, but a copy for yourself and get some extra's for Xmas gifts!

Filled cover to cover along with anecdotes
Cold Wars: 40 Years Of Packer-Viking Rivalry by football enthusiast Todd Mishler is an informed and informative review of every game these the cherished Greenbay Packer and Minnesota Viking football teams have played since 1960. Filled cover to cover along with anecdotes, insights, and cheers from players, coaches, sports writers, and fans, Cold Wars is enthusiastically recommended as an engaging history perfect for Wisconsin and Minnesota football buffs and could well serve as a template for writing books about other historic football rivalries!

How to Grow Medical Marijuana
Published in Paperback by Prelude Pr (December, 1999)
Authors: Todd McCormick and Peter McWilliams
Average review score:

I love to Smoke Pot
OK this is how it f ucking goes I smoke pot and I dont ever pass the blunt until I pass out

Very groundbreaking and tragic
It's sad to see medical marijuana users persecuted by the federal government. Todd McCormick is facing a 5-year minimum sentence for growing his medicine at home, as well as doing some medical-marijuana research.

The actual information relayed in the book is thorough. Instructions run from A to Z, covering all the steps in harvesting and maintaining a marijuana crop.

Actually, I'm not sure that the methods implied by McCormick to grow 'Mary' as medicine are the same ones coveted by recreational pot smokers. There may be a different variety of marijuana more specialized for intoxication. One of the goals of medical marijuana is to get full therapeutic benefits with minimal psychoactivity, not exactly the goal of stoners. Therefore I would recommend this primarily to those who plan to actually use marijuana as a medicine as opposed to a recreation.

Very good marijuana cultivation book.
Do not be fooled by the title my friends, medical marijuana is exactly the same as recreational marijuana so don't be discouraged to buy because of the title. Todd McCormick tells you step by step how to grow some kind buds, very simple- I also purchused (before this book) Closet Cultivator which is solely based on cultivation and I found that Todd's book was far more helpfull! This is a MUST HAVE! TRUST ME! Yes, I am high but I always am so.....Peace

What Ho, Magic!
Published in Paperback by Meisha Merlin Publishing (15 March, 1999)
Authors: Tanya Huff and Todd Lockwood
Average review score:

Magic, Space Opera, Horror and more!
What Ho, Magic! is the first of what is hopefully several collections of short stories by Tanya Huff. There are stories of quiet, haunting horror; stories of magic and of mystery; and even a wonderfully tongue-in-cheek space opera story. This collection shows the breadth of Huff's skills, and she proves that she is quite capable of delivering a mystery with a private detective turned vampire, or an attack of a foot-and-a-half long dragon, or a tale of ghosts in the subway that will incite feelings of slight claustrophobic for a day or two.

Her characters are strong and entirely human; well, the vampire *was* a human at one point. In the story "Shing Li-Ung," Huff tells a tale of a sister and brother finding their heritage in the melting pot of cultures in modern Toronto. "The Chase is On" tells us of a starship captain, most emphatically *not* a smuggler, but she does occasionally stray on the odd side of the law. Huff even brings magic into the sports arena with the delightful and thought-provoking "A Midsummer Night's Dream Team." High Elves playing basketball? Tolkien would have conniptions--or laugh his head off in approval.

Great Short Story Collection!
So far, I haven't read a book by Tanya Huff that I haven't enjoyed, and this collection is no exception. It contains 15 of her short stories, and there's not a bad one in the bunch. Best of all, it contains four short stories involving her Blood series characters Vicki Nelson, Michael Celluci and Henry Fitzroy - always a pleasure to read.

"The Chase Is On" is a space opera, whose characters deserve a book of their own. "Underground" tells the story of what may exist in the Toronto subway system. "I'll Be Home For Christmas" is about a mother, her young daughter, and the inheritance that is much more than it appears to be. "Shin Li-Ung" is a story about Chinese tradition, gangs, and unexpected protection. "First Love, Last Love" is the ultimate tale of boys and their toys. "Word of Honor" tells of a woman who discovers her own honor while carrying out a quest for someone else. "The Harder They Fall" is about what happens when fairy tales turn real. "A Debt Unpaid" is a mining story involving personal choices and personal ghosts. "February Thaw" takes the story of Demeter, Persephone, and Hades and turns them into a modern-day dysfunctional family. "Symbols Are A Percussion Instrument" involves an cynic and a pack of tarot cards. "A Midsummer Night's Dream Team" takes High Elves and crosses them with the Olympics. And then "This Town Ain't Big Enough", What Manner of Man", "The Cards Also Say" and "The Vengeful Spirit of Lake Nepeakea" all continue the story of Vicki Nelson (ex-cop, now a vampire PI), her lover Detective-Sargeant Michael Celluci, and Henry Fitzroy (romantic novelist, vampire, and bastard son of King Henry VIII of England).

If you've never read Ms. Huff, this is a great introduction to her writing. And if you're a fan, then this is icing on the cake.

Awesome!
If you never read a Tanya Huff book this is the one to start with. The stories are amazing in their diversity! I have read just about every Huff book (except one that is out of stock). All her books are awesome! I love the Blood books, the Last Wizard, and the Quartered books. It amazes me that she has such an imagination.

This book just shows there doesn't seem to be anything she can't write about.

Keep up the excellent work Tanya!

Foundation Dreamweaver MX
Published in Paperback by friends of Ed (October, 2002)
Authors: Jerome Turner, Craig Grannell, Matt Stephens, George McLachlan, and Todd Marks
Average review score:

Too hard for beginners: Too much hand coding involved
I am not a beginner in Dreamweaver by any means, and I don't understand why the author insists on making you do everything by writing code. If I could write in code, I wouldn't need Dreamweaver. I think his reasoning is that entering the code in by hand will save you time, but I think this is a big mistake on his part. That's the whole point: to let Dreamweaver write the code for you.

You have to do things in hand code when there are perfectly easy features that do all of this for you. That's not necessary to learn Dreamweaver, and the author does not even teach you the features while you are entering in all this code.

It's too hard to make sure the code is written correctly when you do it yourself, leading to all kinds of errors that confused me while I was learning. I had to continually go back and forth between my case study and the example that was provided. And then their code does not match what they are telling me to put into my own case study. It turns out that the book is not written correctly, telling you to write in code that is in the wrong syntax. The only way I figured out the problem was to constantly check against the example, and I realized there was an error in the instructions. Also, on the web site there is no list of errata, so I don't know if they even know they've made mistakes.

If this is supposed to save you time, guess what: it doesn't. I would not recommend this book to anyone, especially if you are truly a beginner in Dreamweaver. Go to the H.O.T. book instead--it's much better than this.

Excellent step-by-step tutorial
This book is a MUST for those wanting to learn the first steps in how to truly use Dreamweaver to create a quality basic site. From layout and images, to CSS tutorials, right up to PHP and MySQL lessons. It's right on.

Experienced developers or programmers may want to pass on this book since it really is a beginner title... hence the Foundation premise. ;-)

Clear and creative
This book is an excellent starting point for anyone who has only just got to grips with other dreamweaver versions. It gives clear but creative information in a way that is easy to follow. It's very well written and gives some good examples
